Newfoundland and Labrador Smokers’ Helpline
online quit-smoking group program
The Helpline's next Online Group will be starting in September 2020, and will run for 4 weeks on Monday evenings 7:00-7:45pm.
Available for residents of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Register today for the NL Smokers’ Helpline’s Online Group Program. Then we will be in touch with you once all of the details are finalized. Please contact the Helpline if you have any questions.
Here’s how it works:
The program is led by a trained smoking cessation program facilitator. It is open to anyone who is thinking about quitting smoking in the near future or anyone who has recently quit. There’s no pressure to quit smoking right away. The program simply provides information, tips, tools and support to help people move forward when they are ready. It will help boost your motivation to quit and will help you feel more prepared and confident to follow through and stay quit.
When you join:
It’s completely up to you how you’d like to connect with the other participants. If you’re comfortable signing on with your web cam and/or microphone, that’s great! Otherwise you can simply type in your comments and questions within the private online program.
Let us know you’re interested, and we’ll send you all of the details for logging on and for accessing the resources.
A reminder that this service is available only for residents of Newfoundland and Labrador. If you are from outside of this province we encourage you to search for the quitline that serves your area.
